Howdy, I'm danielle!

Let's get to know each other

I'm originally from a small southern town out in the country, in what used to be "Old Florida" where orange groves and cow pastures were endless as well as the bass fishing. Life moved a little slower there. However, the military brought my husband and I out to Nevada, and even though it's been a huge shift, I've fallen in love with the desert. While living here may be new to me, the love for the rugged spirit of the west runs pretty deep in my blood. My dad grew up on a fourth-generation farm in the mid-west, and every year, my family and I head out to help my uncle during branding season on his cattle ranch in Wyoming. I guess you could say that's what really sparked my love for photographing the lifestyle of the west, espeically since my family's roots run deep here. That's why I feel so honored, being able to carry on traditions and pass down history with one of the most powerful tools we were given, photography.

I quite literally enjoy, and do a little bit of everything. I'm an extroverted, introvert (say that three times fast). Which means I love connecting with peopole but also value my quiet time. When I'm not behind the camera, you'll most likely find me out with my dogs, ridin' horses, fishing, hunting, shooting, or getting my reps in with my compound bow. I've got a deep love for music and spend my quiet moments pickin' on the guitar singin' a little Johnny Cash. Most days, I'm chasing the dream of building a simpler life- working my way toward homesteading and living off the land, which is my husband and I's ultimate goal. I'm all about real moments, wild places, and the kind of peace you can only find out in the country.

I've always felt most at home unplugged from the noise of the world. Give me a tent, trail and some wide open country with zero cell service and I'm in my happy place. I love camping, backpacking and just being out where the only sounds are wind, birds, and maybe an elk bugle in the distance. One of my favorite things is observing widlife- just watching and photographing them in their natural rhythm. There's something so humbling and sacred about being a quiet witness to the raw, untamed circle of life.

I hope that this helped you in getting to know a little about me. I really enjoy making connections with my clients. Some have even turned into lasting friendships, which I'm very thankful for.
